How to get your device ready to sell

Back up

Back up to iCloud, Google or your computer so you don’t lose anything.

Sign out and turn off Find My

On iPhone, go to Settings, tap your name and choose Sign Out. On Android, remove your Google and Samsung accounts. A device that’s still locked to an account can’t be reused.

Reset

Erase all content and settings. We wipe every device again to NCSC guidance when it arrives.

Take out your SIM

Remove your SIM and any memory card before you pack it up.
